Irish Adventure Stories
I will complete a project with the children in which each of them will research a different Irish myth and re-write it in their own words, for publication as a class book. I found the site below to be a great help in finding and researching myths.
Teaching Ideas/ Suggested Activities: The children will research the period of time from when their myth was written. What types of clothes did people wear? Who was in charge? How did they get their food? What types of houses did they live in?
Curriculum Linkage: History (Myths and Legends)
